He was born in Milan in 1974. In 1999 he graduated in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He got his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering in 2004 with a thesis "Multi-Scale Investigation of Carbon-Based Nanostructured Films". 2005-2014 as assistant professor. In 2014 he got a position as Associate professor at Politecnico di Milano where he conducts his teaching and research activity. He is lecturer of the MSc courses 'Introduction to Nanoscience' and 'Phyiscs of Nanostructures'. He is coauthor of more than 75 scientific publications on international peer reviewed journals, 5 book chapters and more than 20 conference proceedings.
