Diego Tonini

Born in Treviso in 1978, in 2003 he graduated in Material Science at Università di Padova with the thesis "morphology of niobium films sputtered at different target - substrate angle". In 2004 he got a II level master degree in Surface Treatments for industrial applications at Università di Padova and in the same year he started his fellowship in the Superconductivity Lab at Legnaro National Laboratories of Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics (LNL - INFN), working mainly on PVD deposition and characterization of superconducting thin films. From October 2006 to September 2008 he worked at Politecnico di Milano doing research activity concerning Pulsed Laser Deposition of nanostructured functional coatings.
