Born in Milano in 1985, he obtained in December 2009 a degree summa cum laude in "Nuclear Engineering" at Politecnico di Milano (1 st cycle degree in Physical Engineering in September 2007 at the same university) with a thesis about theoretical aspects of laser-driven ion acceleration process. Since January 2010 he is a Ph.D. student in “Energetic and Nuclear Science and Technology” at Politecnico di Milano. Research Topic: Theoretical and experimental studies on ion acceleration driven by ultraintense ultrashort laser pulses interacting with solid targets.
