From 2005 to 2008 he is PhD student in materials "Politecnico di Milano" Technical University, engineering. Topic of the research: Scanning Probe Microscopy imaging of proteins and biologically functionalized surfaces.
In 2004 he graduated with honours in Materials Engineering at "Politecnico di Milano" Technical University. Topic of the graduation thesis: in situ Raman Spectroscopy and electrical conductivity measurements of cluster assembled carbon films grown by SCBD techniques (Supersonic Cluster Beam Deposition). Graduation thesis was awarded the "XIII Alberto Vaudo prize" instituted by the Rotary Club of Milano Porta Vercellina in collaboration with the graduated students association of "Politecnico di Milano".
