Born in Poggiardo (LE) in 1986, in 2008 he obtained his BSc in Physical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. From 2009 to 2010 he was a MSc student at Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau (Paris), for the ERASMUS exchange program. In 2010 he obtained his MSc summa cum laude in Nuclear Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis about the analysis of thin films of iron deposited on gold surface using scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM-STS).

Since January 2011 he has been a PhD student in Energetic and Nuclear Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano. Research field: analysis of thin films of titanium dioxide using scanning
tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM-STS).
