Molecular Imaging

Scanning probe techniques (AFM/STM) for direct imaging of biomolecules (proteins, DNA, cells).

Au/Ag microgrids have been developed for AFM and STM analysis of DNA microarrays produced by dip pen nanolithography (DPN).

This activity is in the framework of a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano and Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) started in 2005.
