Triple grating Raman Spectrometer

Raman Spectrometer in triple or mono configuration: equipped with 3 gratings of 1800 gr/mm. Macro and micro-Raman measurements are available.
Instrument resolution: < 3 cm-1
Spectra are acquired with a liquid-nitrogen-cooled CCD matrix
Low frequency Raman down to 10 cm-1

Excitation lines available:

  • Nd-YAG (Coherent DPSS 532): 532 nm
  • He-Ne (JDS 1100): 633 nm .
Micro-Raman measurements are performed with an Olympus BX-40 microscope with 10x, 20x, 50x e 100x objectives. XY table permits to perform Raman imaging. Oxford Instruments (80-800 K) and micro-cryostat Oxford Instruments (80-500 K) are used to perform macro- and micro-Raman measuremnts as a function of temperature.

Macro optics can be connected to a UHV-compatible chamber for in situ measurements. The chamber sample holder hosts a heater and a liquid nitrogen cold finger for variable sample temperature in the 100-500 K range. Another sample holder can be used in the 300-1200 K temperature range.
